Song Structure Tags

Hi everyone! New user here... I just found out about Stage Traxx yesterday, but I'm already hard at work setting up songs. I've noticed that when I copy lyrics from some websites, they include tags like [Verse 1], [Chorus], etc. I like this in the lyrics, but when I paste the lyrics into ST, some of these tags are treated differently. In the lyrics editor, they turn green, and when loading the song, the brackets disappear, and a new line is inserted below it. It is confusing and annoying that this happens for some tags but not others.

Where can I find a list of tags that are atumatically recognized and treated this way so that I can either use only those tags or completely avoid them in order to have some consistency?

Thanks! I'm loving the app so far and can't wait to get some songs up and running with time-coded lyrics and MIDI commands.

Stage Traxx does not know song structure tags. Square brackets are solely used for chords, timestamps and midi tags. See here for a complete list: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/lyrics/

peter it appears that what’s happening is that any string that I put between square brackets starting with A-H is being treated as a chord regardless of what character(s) follow it.

The following are all automatically formatted like chords:
[Chorus]
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]

The following are treated as plain text:
[Verse]
[Refrain]
[Pre-Chorus]

Yeah, the first 3 match the chord highlighting rules.

Stage Traxx has headline tags. I would recommend using those instead of these structure tags.
