Lyrics only song - won't open to the lyrics.

What am I missing here?
I have it in a playlist, and nothing happens when I click on it.
If I press play it goes to the next song.
Help?

I notice if I then click on a song with audio further on, that song opens with lyrics, then I can stop playback and click back on the problem song, and now it opens the lyrics.

You can not play a lyrics only song if you have not set a duration for that song. Open song details and edit the duration. After that, you can "play" that song.

Hi Peter, just a thought, perhaps you should set a default time of around 3 minutes on any new lyrics song to avoid getting questioned about this issue that seems to confuse the new commers.

Damir You are right, I did indeed think about that yesterday when I answered that question.

Sorry, but I already had a duration of 3 minutes added to the song. It did not open.

gordwait i would make a full backup in a folder outside ST3 , delete the old ST3 software and install a complete new version of ST3 , making sure i also have the latest operating system.
Then reinstall the full backup.

Ok, call me dumb - it's fine if I hit "Play", then the lyrics show up as desired.
And I also just learned I can double click on them and the lyrics show.

What threw me is you can get to a state where it is Not in play, and single click on a song in the list to get the lyrics,
But only after you hit play, then pause, but this is also true for any of the songs..

Sorry for my confusion!
