Missing full intro to backing tracks

I have just upgraded to the Stagetraxx3 from the 2.10 version which I have been using since 2015 with my iPad 4. I have had no problems at all and the app has been amazing and worked seamlessly with the iPad 4.

After transferring all my backing track music files over to the new iPad 10 and testing them, I noted that quite a few are missing the first half a second or so at the beginning of the song. It doesn’t seem to happen when playing via its own speakers, but only when connected via cable to my Bose T1 system. Hope you can shed some light on this for me to get this resolved. Many thanks.

How do you connect to the Bose system? This problem is usually caused by some Bluetooth receivers or lightning/usb-c audio adapters.

Hi Peter, I'm connecting via a usb c adaptor with two connectors, one for charging and the other as a headphone socket into the Bose T1 Tonematch. I have since tested it via bluetooth into a JBL system and it plays fine without missing the beginning of the track. It's not an Apple adaptor.
Do you think an original Apple adaptor will solve the problem. Many thanks.

I had this problem, you need a good quality USB-C to 3.5mm socket adapter. Apple obvious works.

Yes, my experience with Apple Adapters is that though they are expensive, they work fine. Just had this experience again with a lightning to hdmi adapter. Tried a cheap third party adapter and image quality was horrible. Bought the original Apple adapter and image quality is perfect. Same for audio adapters.

I've just tried the new Apple adaptor and success, the backing track plays from the beginning! I bought the non Apple adaptador originally as I wanted one that charged the ipad at the same time. Thanks for your help.
