I’m having an issue when playing songs at a lower speed. I play some bluegrass songs at 90% speed (so my fingers can keep up) and when the song ends and I start the next song in the list, the music starts ok but the lyrics start being highlighted about a quarter of the way into the song.. If I stop that song and go back to the beginning it all syncs up again. Is there an easy solution I am missing?
Lyrics are highlighting midway into song
Here is what it looks like. End of song. A few seconds before I press play on the next song and then the next song music starts ok, only the lyrics start midway into the song. Auto play is not on ST3 on iPad Pro iOS updated ST3 latest release.
The video is private.
Not sure what I see in the video. When the first song ends, the next is loaded and at first that seems fine. But then you somehow start the playback 25 seconds into the song and that has a weird delay. Are the tracks out of sync? In any case the highlighting seems to be consistent with the playback position.

peter Yes. All I do is hit the play button and the music starts normally but the highlighting and the playback wave form at the top of the screen get out of sync with the music. It only happens when the first song is played back at a slower tempo than the original recording. If I hit pause immediately after play and then play again the the music will resume in sync with the lyrics
So all it takes to reproduce the issue is to play a multitrack song with 90% speed? And then the position and scrolling of the next song is out of sync?
OK, I can reproduce the issue. Clearly a bug. I don't know yet what causes it but I will try to get it fixed in the next update.
Can you confirm that this does not happen if one of the songs is not a multitrack song? I can only reproduce it when both songs are multitrack songs.
Is it possible that you have the option Audio Routing > Combine UBS & Headphone Outputs enabled? I could not reproduce the issue during debugging and found out that the only difference between before when I saw the issue is that I had that option disabled during debugging. Now with this option disabled I can no longer reproduce the issue.
That's really strange. Without that option I am not able to see this issue. And I also have no idea why I see it with that option enable or what I could change to make it disappear. I don't see an error in the code that reads the current player time.
Yes I know. I can reproduce the issue only with 2 multitrack songs and only when the combine USB option is active. In all other cases, playback position is correct.
Greetings, I love this app and have over 100 performances using it. Recently after adding a few new songs I notice occasionally, after starting a multitrack song, the lyrics and chords are not in synch with the music. They are ahead of the music. I realize this and do my best to keep playing from memory. Unfortunately last night this happened twice and suddenly the song stopped before the end. My belief is that it stopped because it thought the song was over even though it wasn’t.
When this happens I notice that the timeline starts at an advanced point rather than at the beginning, even though the count in works normally. I can restart the song and usually it works well the second time but sometimes it takes a third restart which is embarrassing.
I am using audio region looping on most of my songs and wondered if this could be related? Any ideas about this?
Now that I’ve had a chance to play with it this morning i think that what I’m calling a bug may have something to do “history”. I never use history for anything and don’t clearly understand it. I simply build a playlist for each gig and go through all the songs in the playlist. Past mysterious behavior I recall seems to correct itself if I clear history regularly. When I clear the history this morning the problem seems to be resolved though I’ve only tried it a few times. When preparing for a gig I often practice parts of certain songs multiple times which builds up a lot in history.
Do you think “history” could be causing this and is there a way to eliminate it’s affect on my playback?
