Hello. I am a brand new user and have been watching videos and learning what I can. I just tried to make my very first song in Stagetraxx3.

I need some advice going back to the very basics...

How do you take Karaoke Version files from my Mac computer and get them into the Ipad? I have seen people talk about "airdrop" (which my 10 year old Mac doesn't really detect or show any options about). I have tried to add the files to an Itunes playlist on the Mac, but the Ipad does not see that.

Is there a video out there to see how to do this basic starting point for songs?

Klar I just subscribed to Icloud after posting this, hoping this would make transfers easier. I have one song up to test. So far, no idea how to put the audio files inside the Stagetraxx song already created. The lyrics and chords are there but not sure what to do to import the audio.

I tried importing, but it ended up creating a new "custom" file instead of going into the existing file.

Are you multi track or single track import.? You may need to create a ‘multi track’ song in ST3 to import Karaoke-Version stems. I import from Dropbox so am unable to offer iCloud advice . If you have created a single track, you may need to copy and paste to a new created song .

Seems like you create a lyrics only song. It is not possible to add audio files to that song type. Either create a new song with the option "From local files" and then select the audio file in your iCloud folder, or create a multitrack song and then add tracks to it in song details.
