Total number of Songs. Storage on Stage Traxx

Hi there
I've recently purchased a 9th Gen Ipad and downloaded and paid for the full version of Stage Traxx.
Are you able to let me know roughly how many songs that I'll be able to add to Stage Traxx?

The answer will depend on your storage availability plus whether you use tracks (both single or multitrack)

Let's assume:

If 1 song = 100MB
Hence, a 64GB ipad can store up to 640 songs.

SuperBisDak That's too general. You need to provide more info how you calculate.

100MB per song could be a 6 minute stereo uncompressed audio file with 48kHz/24Bit. Or a 5 minute song with 8 stereo tracks as 320kbit compressed files. Or 8 5 minute stereo songs as 320kbit compressed files.

SuperBisDak incorrect there, as you are not factoring into it, the operating system and the apps (as well as a whole load of other stuff), that use up some of that iPad memory size as well. We have had to ditch the 32gb ones as there was simply not enough room on them for our song lists (Currently standing at a couple of thousand 48khz mp3's) All iPads are now 256gb or higher in our fleet. On the 32gb iPad with just the iOS system and the stagetraxx app, we were left with only 27gb of available space for tracks, and even then you could not use that full amount, as overhead is needed to run the apps and iOS etc as well
