How do I?

ST3 is amazing, it's changed how I work. I do have a request. I've only been using ST3 a short while, so maybe there is a simple answer to this one. I'm using Advanced Queue mode, but I often change song order or insert different songs on the fly. Here's what I would like it to work. I have multiple songs in the queue, and I play a song. The player comes up, the lyrics show, and the song plays. Great! But when the song ends, I see the player and a "split" view of the queue/lists and the lyrics for the next song. I can close the player by tapping (or hitting an assigned key, in my case) and view the queue or songlist. My preference would be to skip the step of tapping to close the player view, and after a song plays instead go right back to the main page with the Queue, playlists, and songs all available to me as soon as the song finishes playing. In other words, only see the Player view when a song is playing. Are there settings that allow me to work this way?

No, the main player only closes when the queue is empty. So as long as you have songs lined up you stay in the player view. Which in my opinion absolutly makes sense. In this view you can hide or show the song list with just a single tap on the icon to the right of the list. Here you can work with the list the same way as in the starting screen.

peter Could this be added as an option in a future version? I prefer the player (with lyrics) view showing when a song is playing, and want the full view of the queue, playlists, and songs the rest of the time. As you suggested, it's not a big deal to tap (or in my case, hit a key) to close the player, but it's a minor inconvenience I'd rather avoid. I'm sure, like you, most people like how it works now. But as a solo act I tend to be extremely interactive with the crowd, and so I tend to move songs around in the queue or add songs from the song list quite a bit. I like the spontaneity. I love having the queue available, but for me, it is more of a "suggestion" than a rigid setlist. And so for me, having the full range of choices available after every song is my preference. As I said in my first comment, I love ST3, and it is a game changer for me, and I appreciate all the work that has gone into making it the amazing product that it is.

There is an option to automatically hide the sidebar during playback. It will automatically show when playback stops.

peter Yes, I know, and I use it. But the sidebar reappears when the song is over, and that is not my preference. I would prefer the split view not exist at all.
