I'm in Advanced Queue mode. (Macbook, using a mouse.) The setting for adding a song to the top of the queue is turned on. So I click on a song, it goes to the top of the queue, and I can play it next. Love the feature. It works great, and exactly as I would expect, with one exception. Not sure if this planned behavior or a bug. If there is exactly one song in the queue, and you add another, it goes into the queue as the 2nd song, not the first. This is not what I would expect. I would expect the new song to go to the top of the queue, and it's a bit confusing when it happens. If I add a 3rd song it jumps to the top of the queue. Bug or feature?
Bug or feature?
deanrichard the way i see it its a logic bug, i would expect if you are in STOP mode whatever song you choose should become the top song , if you are playing a song and select anothernext song it should go underneath the now playing song to be the NEXT chosen song to play.
I believe there is also a setting you can choose if to place the imported song at the end of the list or the begining, but the logic should remain always if you are in STOP mode and have selected the END of list then no matter what new songs go to the bottom of the list this should apply if in PLAY mode.
If you have chosen to have new selected songs to go to the TOP of the list then in STOP mode a new song should always load to the absolute top of the list if a song is in PLAY mode then the TOP of the list should be just below this song.
This to me is LOGICAL and what i would expect from ST3.
I dont use Queue mode so i havent experienced this issue but im sure Peter will be accross it in a flash if its not working as expected.
Cheers Damir
I agree that's how I would expect it to work as well, but perhaps Peter can shed some light on it.
You are right. Seems to be a bug. If nothing is playing, the current top song should be replaced. Only if a song is playing, the new song should be added on position 2. I will take a look at it.
