Is it possible to add more than 8 separated tracks in future version? What prevents 16 or 24 tracks?

I just learned about this app on YouTube, came quickly to download and test it. It's unbelievable!!! What an amazing app, it has everything necessary to run not only backing tracks but the whole show automation! Beautiful, amazing work.

But it broke my heart when I learned about this 8-track limitation, because I currently have more than 400 songs and most of them are made out of more than 8 files. Some of these files are mono, like clicks and cues, I could theoretically combine them, and to be honest I probably don't need more than 8 individual tracks going to my mixer separately, however I also can't migrate my setlist to Stage Traxx without having to edit 400 songs and bouncing the stems in groups, which for me would be impossible at this moment. If Stage Traxx could at least import more than 8 files, even if in the end it processes internally as 8 stereo buses (or even better, 16 mono buses that could be optionally linked together) at least I could do this without having to (destructively) edit my stems.

To be honest I'm posting here just to observe this thread and know if it one day it gets implemented, so I can switch to Stage Traxx from my current solution. 😃

Again, amazing job, it's a 5-star app regardless of this limitation. Thank you very much.

luizguitar I agree with you , at the moment you can only import 1 song at a time which suited me fine but recently I had multiple songs so I selected them all and sent it to ST3 to find only one song was imported , perhaps this is a bug, but it’s a frustration , I believe you can copy and paste in to ST3 folder direct and use refresh but it’s not a fast way of doing things, perhaps Peter can give us an explanation to a workable solution.
I agree this app is ahead of all audio players by miles.

I spent many years making over 500 tracks and spent the last two years alone redoing them into multitracks from stereo.
Hard work but worth it.

Peter definitely is working on a future update/upgrade with more stems per track, how many no idea yet. 16 would definitely cover 99% of my needs at the max.

And this is definitely not only the best but the only app out there offering all these features and options 😊 but remember that big ambitions make it harder to make and keep stable and solid.
