Hello,
I am a live band user, and I pass pages with an Airturn.
However, in my use case, I do the singing, I play the rythm guitar & do a few solos (when my lead guitar lets me do it)...

What I would like to have is a "Pause" command into the lyrics, with possibly a certain time to pause, then the lyrics would scroll automatically to this pause point, then restart scrolling ater a given time, or a press of a button on the airturn...

Do you think it would be possible ?

Thanks for your great app, and support,

Alain

AlainMiz17 you have that capability now by using loops / regions pre programmed in your song so you can pause and select the region you need this brings up that regions lyrics and won’t play the backing till you hit start again , the only thing is it won’t auto scroll the lyrics only , so you would have to place an audio mute button on your AirTurn so you could jump to a specific region and mute audio so your lyrics would scroll without sound , then stop when you are done select new region and unmute the audio and off you go again , you can also use the show tempo metronome in STOP mode to keep you in basic time so when you get back to play backing you are set to come in in correct tempo.
It’s possible but needs all things to be pre programmed to work smoothly.

So to recap simply , select your audio segment you want to sing without backing and hit mute audio to get rid of the backing but still have lyrics scrolling of any part of the song using regions once you are close to end of your solo without backing hit stop choose new segment unmute the audio and hit start , yes it’s a lot but it’s possible if you practice it.
Oh if you are using PDFs than this might not apply as I don’t use them.

Well, this all seems pretty complicated.
I never used loops / regions, because I. play live with musicians, hence, thought I did need this option.

I really thought, that, like using midi to trigger events outside ST3, it would be a nice option to have a pause, and play command...

      Cheers !

AlainMiz17 easy, I still use the audio of the song muted but I create regions and time stamp them so I can jump around with ease to which part of the song I need lyrics for
This is much better than pdf as I can use foot control to do this or my finger to quickly jump to a specific lyric part, I can also auto scroll through the lyric by hitting play and if I stop anywhere where I might choose to adlib I get a nice visual sync so I can stay in rough time if I happened to run the auto scroll again , it basically becomes an auto cue for text with ease of choosing what part of a song I choose to sing, all my songs have audio as a guide track some I use the backing others I still use the backing but muted , as the audio regions are a perfect way to arrange a song on the run.
