So I have some weekly shows that I am doing 3 x 30min sets. I used to have a playlist called the name of the place I am performing (let's say "Man Cave" for example) and I had all the revenant songs from my entire song list added. So let's say that my entire repertoire is 6hrs of music and the Man Cave venue requests only jazzy songs then I have a pool of 3hrs of the jazzy songs I perform added to it.
There is the need to provide the duration of the set before starting the performance.
I used to have 4 sets. "Man Cave pool" containing all the jazzy songs and "Man Cave 1-3" adding songs each week to keep the performances different and know the total duration of each set.
That proved to be not the best possible solution as it was a lot of adding and removing involved.
The next solution that I have been using so far is:
I have been selecting the songs (from the pool) that I will play and adding them to a new playlist called "Man cave set" and then I had the total duration for this set.
Is there any way to know, without creating a separate new playlist, the duration between song #22 and song number #32 for example?
Or
Is there any way to select some songs and add them to a queue at the order that I selected them and also know the duration?
Both would be equally useful I think.
