Major issue on older mac since last update

Since the last update I can no longer drag and drop tracks without the application hanging and shutting down. This makes it unusable for me right now and I've had to resort to the older version on my other machine.

This is on an old Mac operating system, I'll have to check what it's running but I wanted to report it quickly

I am aware of this issue but I have no idea why it broke and how to enable it again. I have not changed anything in the area of the drag and drop code. Only macOS Catalina is affected. Big Sur and newer work fine, just as all iOS versions.

I suspect the current XCode version is responsible for this bug and hope that a new XCode version will maybe fix it.

Cheers for the reply. I don't want to update this machine past Catalina so that I can run older programs. IS there any workaround for Stage Trax 3 that you can suggest for now? I've got all my tracks on this machine...

Try to enable Edit mode and see if using the drag handle works.

I did try that and still no joy.

I've now spent the evening updating my 2012 mac to Sonoma using opencore and stage trax 3 is now working better than ever so problem solved for me anyway!

Sorry you had to do that but I am completely lost with how to fix that for Catalina.

peter Ah it's fine actually. I think I will have much fewer issues now and amazingly, Sonoma runs ok on my fully upgraded 2012 pre-retina Macbook.
