Using HOST device issue

Hi Peter i just hooked up a host device for tonights gig and noticed on the GUEST if you go to settings and change a prefferance like centered lyrics or show lyrics only without the song list column and get back to the playlist screen you have just been disconnected from the HOST session , you then have to go back to settings and rejoin the session again, this is such a trap, i meant crap 😂 i know it probably needs a refresh of some kind but could you make it so its automated,like if you are in host mode and you go to settings IN THE GUEST and you do change something why cant the software automatically rejoin the GUEST machine to refresh and return to the exact song position of the HOST instead of beeing disconnected and some random song lyric pops up , this is not user friendly. The only way to terminate a HOST SESSION should be when you exit either device software or you go to settings and terminate a Host session, nothing else should be able to disconnect you.

When you close the network client, it will drop the connection. That is intentional to not waste network bandwidth. And when you want to change settings you need to navigate to another screen anyway. So no big deal to restart the connection after you made the changes.

I dont care about babdwidth, all i want is to change the setting on the guest device and maintain its connection to the host, thats more important to me so i dont have to keep chasing my tail all the time, once i choose something i expect it to be there untill i choose not to have it.
What has bandwiidth got to do with this ? I am hard wired to the audio desk audio wise , i only have bluetooth to use on my unreliable foot pedals , so how is bandwith an issue?

Oh yes its a big deal having to reset a connection when you are on stage , its hard enough to change what you need in settings than to still have to navigate to join host again.
Just a thought, why cant you just automate the return logic, suggestion, as you leave settings it automatically triggers a refresh of the last connected device, so basically you can go to settings change a setting knowing when you return to the song its automatically rejoined to the host again and it will appear like you never lost the connection in the first place, this refreshes the data and lessens the extra work in a middle of a performance.

Damir The idea is to NEVER LOOSE A CONNECTION, unless you choose to do it or if you perhaps have a bad wireless signal , no other reason.
