iPad not seeing audio interface

Hi Peter, I’ve been using ST3 with my MacBook Pro and Behringer UMC 404HD and everything works great. However the Mac needs to go in for repair and I’ve tried using my iPad Pro 1st gen (iPadOS 16.7.2) and my iPad mini 4 (15.8) and neither are recognising the Behringer. The Behringer is powered and I’m using the midi lead supplied and I have combine usb and headphones switch on. The only routing option I can see is speaker. I also tried using a powered usb hub but same result. Any ideas?

JJP I had a similar problem until it was explained that iOS see the last interface plugged in. If you have ST3 open to audio interface page and plug a headphone in, a few seconds later it pops up and displays headphones.

Perhaps you should restart everything and open the page, plug in the Behringer and wait a few seconds?!?!?

The UMC404 seems to be a bit hard to get working in iOS. There are even Youtube tutorials available on how to make it work.
