I’m wondering if there’s a way to make ST4 a bit more mixer-ish in some places.
1- I’d love to have a compressor on every track.
And if not on every track, then perhaps every multitrack output could have a sub group adjustable with vol, eq and compressor.
To be able to control on the fly, drums up, bass down globally and apply eq and compression on those (currently 8 subs - but as many as you could add in V4)
Also as right now one can add a single AUv3, maybe the ability to add more, or have a master EQ and compressor, preferably more bands of EQ?
Reverb on some multi tracks? Perhaps a send you could apply to the separate tracks?
A couple of midi tracks? While the midi function isn’t bad, being able to export a midi track from logic as i bounce the multi tracks and add to the songs, could prove useful.
I also found that multiple midi commands in the same frame cause midi dropouts. Especially with my lights. Not sure why. If I program my lights and there are overlapping commands, some get lost.
More midi commands on play/stop etc options.
More midi actions, current is only 2. This specifically is very powerful.
If possible, pitch shift that can work on all tracks except those assigned to drums/percussion etc. semi or whole step up already cause phasing sounds on drums particularly. I know you said right now there’s latency, but if you could solve this it’s gold.
A video track. New iPads with usb c, those dongles (camera adapters) have usb c for charge and USB B for audio/midi and also HDMI out for lyrics but video options would be great.
Maybe if no option to add busses with eq, compression etc, then the ability to run multi outputs to AUM etc to mix the subs there and be able to add reverb and other functions.
I probably have more but that’s fine for now
