MIDI control for track volume and pan…

You would really want to change song volume with midi? That would mess up your carefully adjusted volume settings.

I have the system all working now with BlueBoard, JamUp Pro (AmpliTube was 10% higher CPU usage) and AUM. I am digging into rehearsing the set now and it occurred to me that aside from the pedals, I have a Korg nanostudio here and so I was able to easily set it up with ST3. As I work on the songs, it should be a great speed saver with replaying loops and simply moving thru the songs with what you have assignable. Pans and volume adjustments for each song could be a breeze if I could “fiddle” at this point.

My remedy is to use a GIGAPORT 8 from ESI which gives ST3 8 discrete Outputs over USB. The result is I have to add a micro-sized 8 channel mixer but I do get hands on for any last minute adjustments...

I’d love to have a couple of midi faders in st3. I don’t use the audio features of the app. I have midi commands embedded in lyrics which stop and start my audio sequences on a laptop. Having to have another iPad on stage to control the volume of the tracks is a bummer.

Kevtyler ST3 is an audio player not a midi player, perhaps you need a DAW type of player that gives you both, Ahha but then you don’t get lyrics, what a pain 😫 that’s what we need is LOGIC that has lyrics capability as well for on stage use.
Perhaps Garage Band as it’s simpler.

Apologies for the late response, I keep forgetting to push the follow button.

What it is is this, I’m on stage with a 1200 euro laptop running my midi audio and dmx sequences, the laptops connected to a digital desk, and I need a pad for the desk, and one for st3, but most of the time I just want to tweak lead vocal and backing track level, I’d love a couple of faders in st3 to do this. I don’t mess about too much with the other faders mid gig. So when I say on stage, I’m not, I’m often on the floor with waiters and drunks getting far too close to 3 grands worth of tech with beer and food etc. so any excuse to leave 500 euro of gadget in the house is welcomed.
