Cozzie67 Unfortunately No it can’t be hidden , I have asked for this before as it is very nice to use that screen if you don’t need lyrics especially on small devices like iPhones where you can easily choose next song and hit MIX or LOOP and you still have the full controls at bottom.
Fortunately for me I use iPad and I always need my lyrics but when I use my iPhone for music playback I feel the same way you do , I want to use this screen to control my music but I miss the MIX AND LOOP buttons yet I don’t want the lyrics screen and the unnecessary edit functions I just want a plain and simple screen without the lyrics.
I know exactly what you are talking about.
