BleBoard not showing up...

Hello Peter, I am not sure what I need to do with my 4 Buttom BlueBoard as it is not showing up in the BT Midi Devices. It was working last year when I started collecting the parts needed for the show.

I have the latest ST3, iPad mini with latest S/W and 4 button BlueBoard. The board shows up when I run the irig BT app so it seems to be working. Maybe the iPad is not reset? Faulty?

The iPad mini is only running the ST3 and associated apps.

Any insights is appreciated! Resetting things restarting things, whatever...

The Blueboard runs in 3 differrent operating modes, make sure you are using mode B or C (hold B or C while turning device on). In mode A it is not acting as a bluetooth midi device.

It’s the strangest thing. Every device i have, iPhones, iPads, Mac, nothing see it in ST3. Yet, in the iRig app it shows up!

I also have a Positive Grid BT-4 pedal, no luck! Both worked last year with ST3. Is there perhaps a Bluetooth block on my home network? That seems ridiculous.

I did not want to buy more devices but i may grab a pageturn pedal just to get this working or… go the simplest route and press the start button with my finger! So analog!

The iPad Mini see both as an example but the iPad Pro 12.9 does not. The Pro is much more powerful. I would think it should show up lickty split but not!

(Those pedals are not yet connected, just showing up to pair)

Seems you are still using mode A. Switch to B or C. See Blueboard manual on how to do that.

As a matter of interest I have never been able to connect my blueboard with STAGETRAXX running on my ipad using either the B or C modes. I always use mode A via the blueboard app.

DickyDutch Old versions of the Blueboard need a firmware update to work in mode B or C.
