Every so often I need to start the track on perfect time at a downbeat for example and from time to time I press play but nothing happens. I always believed it was my clumsy hand or sweat or just pure bad luck. Today, during a rehearsal, with a lot of timed starts it happened a lot and I got a quick glimpse that the button was activating a "button depressed" animation on screen but the song was not starting. I started testing a lot the button pressing and sure enough I got to being able to 100% of the times to hit it but the song does not start. It can be reproduced 100%.
What is it then?
When you press the button if you, even by a tiny bit, happen to drag you finger it doesn't start. If you tap straight in and out it works.
Peter if this can be addressed easily it would be a really nice reliability update for me.
It seems that it has the same behavior as the waveform area on screen. It doesn't matter where you tap at the song's waveform the seek is not moving but if you ever so slightly drag your finger while tapping the seek play head jumps and follows accordingly.
I have a video if you are interested.
