done songs not highlighted

when i play songs in my playlist - not all songs are highlighted as done

Only some are highlighted? That's strange. Do you have a reproducible way to play a song without it being marked as done? Well, except aborting before 50% of the song have been played.

i don't understand " a reproducible way"
i have tried rebooting, deleting songs and restoring them.
nothing seems to work.
all songs play perfectly, except when track completes some are highlighted but the majority are not.

Do those that are not marked as done have anything in common? Like you used autoplay on them or crossfaded into another song?

I’ve just started experiencing the same problem. Only a fraction of the songs I’m performing are being registered in history and songs aren’t being highlighted, as having being used already?
I’ve cleared history and done the reset before each gig, but this keeps happening? I’ve also checked that there isn’t a queue in place. Can anyone offer any assistance please? Cheers Curly.

I originally posted this issue last week,
I restarted the app and toggled the done settings and it seems to work initially

BUT
without doing this the next gigs it does not highlight them

There is definitely an issue

@peter I can tell you that I crossfade every song on the final beat and always have done this,
and all songs are played in entirety

jaytrax Thanks for that. I sometimes use continuous play and at other times I don’t, it doesn’t seem to highlight the majority of either? For example, I sang 35 songs last night but only had 9 in my history with only 9 highlighted as played, in my set list, it’s really confusing when searching also, makes it a lot harder to locate specific songs imo.

OK, I can confirm this bug. Songs are not added to the history (and by this marked as done) when autoplay or crossfade are used. I will fix that in version 3.8.2.

Played a gig last night, 37 songs, no auto-play though. All played ones were highlighted, and they all showed up in history.

Cheers for the info guys, that’s good to know. However, it’s a pain in the ass having to be next to the player each time a song is approaching its end, less professional imo. I’ve got a Queen medley that I use auto on so that the last song, a separate track, kicks in as if part of the medley; that’ll be pants now!
To Admin, can you please try and sort an update install to rectify this history and highlighting issue when auto or cross fade is used, asap please?

It will be fixed in version 3.8.2 which is currently in review by Apple. Will be available shortly.
