Oldest recommend iphone model hardware spec.

Been using the app on my iphone pro 14 very reliably. But would like to free the phone from this duty and buy a used older iphone for the job while I keep the 14 as a camera for the shows I am making and as a backup should the main phone craps out. What would be the limit,on a older iphone, regarding CPU, ram, DAC quality etc to reliably ran the app as it is plus when any big update rolls out?

You can use any iPhone that can run iOS13 or later.

peter Thank you Peter for your answer. To this makes clear the comparability but what about hardware? Buffer? Maybe the effects such as crossfade etc are not reliable in older hardware. Does that makes sense? Or is playing wav and mp3 files super easy for any device and I could do just fine with the oldest running iOS 13?

Everything in version 3.7 will run fine even on the oldest devices capable of running iOS13.

This might change in the future though. Version 3.8 will allow you to change pitch and speed of multitrack songs and that can be too much for older devices. But no one will force you to change pitch or speed in multitrack songs 😉
