Has anyone been able to edit/delete parts of a track loaded within a song?

Jack ST3 does not edit audio it is a PLAYER, to edit tracks you need to load the backing tracks in to an audio editor software like LOGIC PRO, AUDACITY, CUBASE, etc

What I am attempting to do -- downloading all my tracks individually from KV bass drum keys etc, adding to multitrack
input to stage traxx 3, If I try to add an intro click as a track into the song it does not play in time with the rest of the song.
So,, I would like to be able to have a pre-count click (from KV) to play before the rest of the song to give me an intro, I would want the intro click separate so I could feed it through the monitors only....I am using track rig to separate the tracks to my mixer.

Any ideas??????????

Jack if the click is not exported in sync with other tracks your only solution is using a daw load all tracks in to it and adjust the click to sync with audio tracks you can trim the beginning to your needs then when it’s all tidy export all tracks and place them in to ST3 multitracks , they should all be in sync.
It sounds like there is an issue with your backing tracks provider website software.
You would expect all tracks to be all perfect when downloaded even if you changed key or tempo, the click should also follow in sync.

thanks for the reply, I think what is happening is that the backing tracks ( Karaoke version ) provides, can be downloaded as a complete song with the intro click added, if you download as a complete song and do not separate the tracks then when you input to stage traxx the intro click is present in time, its only when you separate the tracks that the intro click does not mesh. It seems stage traxx wants to start all tracks in the song at the same time, so if the pre count intro click is added as a part of the song then subsequent tracks want to start at the same time as the intro click , hence the sync issue

Jack Ahha yes I see your issue now, that's purely karaoke version problem , they don’t seem to understand what musicians expect when exporting multiple tracks , what they should have programmed in their export system is if you choose a click as well, is an empty space on all other tracks for the count in time so every track remains in sync. This type of programming error is very common in software development where people that have no experience in the area of what they are programming for are making decisions.
This is why ST3 stands out from the rest.
Hopefully they will fix this soon so you can bypass the DAW solution.

If you seperate tracks you need to make sure that the count in is included. I think there is a checkbox in karaoke version. I usually import these stems into Logic to do more editing and then bounce submixes to the stems that I want to have in Stage Traxx. That way I have full control over the tracks.
