Putting chords into lyrics

What’s the best way to put chords into the lyrics
In edit lyrics section I have copied and pasted lyrics in is there a better way to chord’s in or do I have to type them all into each song. It’s very time consuming. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not a fan of editing text on an ipad, so I do most everything on the computer.
I usually grab a chord version of the song from Ultimate Guitar. Then I'll copy and paste them into a ChordPro converter (I use http://ukegeeks.com/tools/). Before I run the formatter I will fix the mistakes and align the chords. Run the formatter, copy and paste them into a document.

If I have to make a quick fix in ST3, that bracket button to the left of the midi and play buttons is super helpful.

What works well on the iPad is using a bluetooth keyboard for lyrics editing. You can even connect a bluetooth mouse if you like.

If you add chords I recommend adding them inline in brackets: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/lyrics/#adding-chords
