Stop button and autoplay issue

If stop button is pressed right before the end of a track with autoplay armed it turns yellow and keeps on playing. If pressed again it stops. I think it happens only if I press it when the crossfade of the autoplay is going on.

Yes, if a crossfade (or fade out) is being performed you need to press stop twice. This is intended.

peter I am really curious to learn the logic behind that. Is there any way to change that behavior? To me a stop is a stop if I press it that means I need the music to stop. Currently I have it set to hit the stop button once to stop. It serves me well like that. Thank you once again for your efforts!

The logic is to not stop the music accidently and if you want to stop the music, do it in a gracious way like with a fade out.

peter I am really sure that I understand something wrong. I have manually set the stop button to A) stop with one press and B) always do a 1 second fade out when commanded to stop for the very reason you mentioned.

The problem for me is the unexpected different behavior. So in essence hitting the stop button once during the last moments of the song it automatically goes to the next one. If you set it to stop with double click it should stop always with a double click and if you set it with a single click it should always stop with a single.
For me in a 60sec song with a 2 sec autoplay crossfade the 58 sec I have to stop the song with a single click and during the last 2 sec with a double click.

What am I missing here?

I don't see any different behaviour. I have 10 seconds crossfade and 1 second fade out on stop. No matter where in the song I press stop it will fade out within 1 second. Even if I press stop in the last 10 seconds when it is already crossfading into the next song. This is exactly what I expect it to do.
