Sync With Different iCloud Accounts

I have five iPads I share with my band. All of them login with the same Apple ID, so keeping them synced is not an issue. The issue is syncing with my wife's iPad who logins with your own Apple ID. Is this possible? I don't see anywhere, where I can can login into to ST3 with different Apple ID than the one logged into on the iPad.

My workaround at the moment is to do a full backup from my iPad to my iCloud Drive, then copy the backup file to her iCloud Drive and then restore it to her iPad. Very clumsy. Lots of steps.

Cloud Sync is only possible with a single account. Cross account sync is not supported.

You could improve your workflow be using Airdrop to transfer the backup file. Much quicker is it does not require a roundtrip through the internet.

No, that's generally not possible. Your iCloud database is private and no one except you can access it.

From a technical perspective iCloud has a concept of shared objects but that is very complicated to use. You would need to send an invitation for each object you want to share. Then there would be a need to assign edit and read rights for all subscriptions and users need to cancel these subscriptions. The amount of work this would take in ST3 is exceptional. So I will not try to implement this in the near future.
