cbeattyjr I'm starting to work up songs and setlists on a iPad. I'm thinking it would be efficient on a MacBook - dragging and dropping; better keyboard; multiple screens, etc. I currently work with Windows PCs. Before I invest in a MacBook - I want to know if I do all the heavy lifting on the MacBook, will the songs and setlists also update on the iPad? Thanks in advance.
Damir cbeattyjr preparing your backing tracks in a Daw would be better on the laptop but organising playlists and creating loops and editing lyrics I find the iPad more efficient and very easy to use rather than my iMac 27 inch because it’s very hands on and portable where I can work with it anywhere and anytime it is capable of multi screen so you can find lyrics on the net quickly paste them , it just feels faster and more efficient than the other two larger screen options with mouse control and a finger pad which can’t do certain things immediately like the ipad, but certainly if using a DAW then I prefer them instead of the iPad. I hope this helps Cheers Damir
jaytrax cbeattyjr I personally don’t use the iCloud sync However I do all my adding songs, ReplayGain, lyrics, time stamps and midi changes on my MacBook I then Airdrop the latest file to my iPad after changes and restore that new file
rowe2000 I just started to use the iCloud sync of Stage Traxx and it is stunning!!! As long as my devices are on the same wifi, it seems to sync and update almost instant. At the moment I use my MacBook for preparing songs iPad for singing the lyrics And sometimes iPhone pre-show, back-stage, if the setlist need to be changed in a hurry.
Damir rowe2000 good to know it’s working well once I sort out my huge library of songs I will give it another shot. Cheers
