I have a feature wish that quick got to the top of my list. 🙂

WHAT: Full screen mode on iOS.
WHY: To maximize the lyrics area on smaller screens.
HOW: On iOS, tap the lyrics once to toggle fullscreen mode. In fullscreen mode all other controls are hidden and the lyrics is maximized over the entire screen. See the attached snapshots.

DESCRIPTION:
I wanna use an iPhone as my primary lyric monitor and put the laptop aside and minimize the barrier to focus on the audience while singing the lyrics. I prefer to use landscape to gain enough text size and still fit the lines, and also be able to read the lines, but then I see only 5-6 lines and it's hard job to sync that by inserting blank lines to make the current line always being visible.

I come to think that none of the controls of the iphone is meaningful by the means that I have them all on my laptop and the phone is just a session client, so then it's possible to double the lyrics area by hiding them.

The function to double tap to show the playlist should still be active in full screen mode, but all other controls should hide.

Peter, I did hope for an positive reply, but I couldn't expect this!!! It's almost overwelming and I feel happy!

Is there an official plan when we could expect to upgrade to v4?

If you need a beta tester or any other way to assist, support or just cheer you up, I will volunteer right away.
I hope you will consider a fee for upgrading to v4!

About v3 not getting any more UI updates ...that sounds fair!

    v4 is a long way off. There will be a 3.8 release at the end of the year and then I will start working on version 4 which will take at least a year to develop.
