Switching screen logic improvement.

Hi Peter, just noticed something minor, when switching back and fourth from small to large player and using history, playlist, song, if i tap to close the screen to access settings and i choose settings then when i return to normal play window if i choose history, playlist, song and then drop down the screen i still end up with settings, the logic should alway be to open the same window that is chosen in one player , the other player window should always be the same, i should not see settings unless i chose them, once i leave settings and am on any other one of the three options the one that is selected should open in the oposite window.
Settings should be a temporary option and should not be the default.
The default should be whatever the user chooses in the main player, history, playlist or song.
This would give us one less button push to return to normal.
At the moment once you choose settings its stuck on that window untill you get of it , creating unnecessary switching.
Its a small thing but it all adds up when fiddling.

There is no settings in the main player. That's why it switches somewhere else. When you are not in settings then both views will always show the same tab.

Yes i know that, my point is whenever you enter settings, once you bring up the normal player and you select forinstance history and you want to clear it or clear done you get presented with the settings view, even though you have selected history in the main window, you basically have to change to history twice to get to what you need.
The settings selection should be canceled automatically when you exit settings and the logic should follow that if you choose history in main window you also immediately get history when you TAP TO CLOSE the window because you are operating with history , that applies with playlist and song, if you then require settings you choose settings do your business there then bring up the main player to continue , tapping to close again gives you the selected option you have in the main player and not the settings which now is the case, meaning you have to manually select again the option you expect, its not a smooth workflow at the moment.
Basically settings needs to be deselected automatically as you get back to the main window and the selected option to open as you tap to close the window.

I understand but I for example often change something in settings, open the main player to check and expect settings to be still open when I close the player so I don't think there is a solution that fits all.

I also see your point, and that’s fine at home when bouncing back and forth setting up for the first time you do a lot of that, but when you are on stage and you only want to quickly change a setting that might be two pages away and quickly get back to the show not needing to remember to get out of settings is a lot more important , yes at home with time on your hands setting up settings the existing way is fine but it’s changing one thing very quickly on stage is what I am more concerned about.
No matter what you need to drop down the window to access the settings, then you need to find the setting that might be another page away once you make the change all you want is to quickly get back to the main screen having that extra step to put back the correct window to me is a waste of precious time that could be avoided, on the other hand when at home entering settings is no big deal to select it every time you need it as you are not under any pressure.
All these little things add up making software fast to use particularly on stage which should be priority.
This applies having nice buttons well placed to easily switch commands or having a really vibrant easy to see and read at a distance looping area,
I know you are flat out with other issues that need more urgent attention so don’t worry too much but I am giving feedback to things that could improve on stage experience.
