Great news !
Still admit I miss the simplicity of ST2 but there are loads of advantages with 3.
So I’ve bought a new mini iPad with 128Gb, the more recent 32Gb pad as backup and oldest one in retirement as it’s blocked on iOS 9 🙁
Will work hard all week to get used to the new system.

I'm really not sure of what this simplicity is that you speak of. It now works exactly like ST2.
Actually, after @musicadi’s excellent explanation of how to setup ST3.00, I did not have any issues using the app anymore.

I have used it for the last month and absolutely LOVE IT! I downloaded the latest version to my iphone and used the new feature (ST2 style playback) for playing break music as I don't want to add them to my main ipad hosted player.

One question, @peter.
How do we reset the playlist so that none of the songs are marked as”Done”? There used to be a little wrench icon in ST2 that allowed you to do that.

I believe History / Clear does that..

Correct, history clear will do that trick.

Oh and if you don't care about played songs, disable the option "Show DONE marker".

I like the “Done” marker as I’m getting old and forgetful. It’s embarrassing when you repeat a song and you realize it in the middle of the song!
