Simplify region editing

A couple of ideas on simplifying creating and editing regions.

Instead of giving a warning when the start of a new region being added overlaps slightly with the current region, just create the new region starting at the end of the current region. Seems like that would save steps and be mostly what one would want.
Allow dragging the select regions handle to resize the current and adjacent region at the same time. This would save selecting the adjacent region, resizing it to make room, selecting the other region and doing the original resize, and then selecting the adjacent region and realizing to align against the original region.

But maybe I'm missing something.

Request 1 makes sense. I can add that to my todo list for version 3.8.

But request 2 can be problematic. What if the region you move into is already fine tuned? In that case the current behavior makes sense and you really don't want the other region to change.

The behaviour 2 suggested, to only work if two regions are joined together but if you move to a non joined region it just acts as is , it just attaches it to existing region.Once they are joined then behaviour changes to move the centre point.
The idea is you can immediately adjust both regions joining point without moving them individually one at a time this would create much faster workflow when fine tuning regions.
