klystron I was talking to my brother about the pain of changing the normal notation usually available online to chordpro notation and he developed and script that makes the changes, you are free to give it a try here is the article and at the end you will find the link to the code. https://pdgonzalez872.github.io/articles/020_20230201_chordpro_parser.html Enjoy it
Lishy peter is there anyway of this being incorporated into ST? The last app I used had it and it saved a lot of time putting the chords in brackets and with positioning
Lishy peter ah I thought this put the chords on the same line within the brackets for you. I hadn’t checked but assumed this was it as it was called the same in the other app I used previously.
peter Lishy It does, but when you work with fixed font width the chord placing from the chordpro file should look the same without conversions.
Riff I usually use the tool over at Ukegeek to convert to chordpro. It's not perfect, but gets me in the ball park pretty fast. http://ukegeeks.com/tools/
