  • Used Live First Time - AWESOME!

I used ST3 for the first time with by 3-piece band this past weekend. They all had the app and I used the host/join mode like magic! I programmed the timing for all the lyrics to highlight line-by-line. Worked perfectly. I also had MIDI broadcast to two devices, my mixer (effects on vocals) and to my Kemper (set to song performance and change to programmed slots in each song for leads, fills, etc). Worked perfectly. Also used my AirTurn to control start/stop. Worked perfectly. THANK YOU @peter !!

profcyclist Okay literally I need more information about broadcasting to your mixer for vocal effects. I 100% agree, btw, StageTraxx is the BEST and works perfectly every single time. We're a 6 piece pop tribute band running a LOT and this is the one thing on our stage that just works how it needs to. But I'm wholly unfamiliar with MIDI devices so I can't imagine what you mean by this, but I want this in my life. Please tell me more!

ginacc By the way, if it helps at all we use a Beringer X32 mixer so I'm guessing it has the capability to do what you're talking about - and all our musicians use digital FX processors, so if you're saying StageTraxx could control all that, I'm blown away. This would be GAME changing.

ginacc I’m doing it with an older PreSonus, but I also have a Behringer XR-18 I’ll be using it with as well which is even easier to setup. I’ll look through the XR manual and send tips and page numbers. I use two WIDI Jack devices for the mixer and Kemper controls.

Behringer X32 and XR18 can be controlled easily by midi. I have setup all my fx sends to a mute group and this mute group can be turned on/off with midi. Btw, always mute your fx sends and not the returns. This way your reverb will fade out when you mute the send.

Use CC80 to CC85 on channel 2 to control the mute groups on X32.

Example: CC80.127@2 to turn mute group 1 on and CC80.0@2 to turn it off
