In app purchases for each device ?

Hi just purchased v 3 on my iPhone and successfully unlocked to full version.
However tried to unlock on my iPad, and it’s directing me to purchase the app again?
Surely it’s a one time payment, so long as you’re using the same apple account ?
Be grateful for some clarification.

Hi Lodgie. I asked that to Peter who replied that it's a one off purchase, you can use the "restore purchases" option on the other devices.
Go to "In App Purchases" in the settings (Store) and you'll see the option at the bottom of the screen.

Alan is right, tap on "Restore purchases" on your other devices to unlock the full version. You only need to buy once for all your devices.

I just encountered this on my iphone. Went to ipad and did restore purchases. Back to iphone. Same problem wanted me to buy it again.

So I removed the beta version and downloaded release version. Went to in app purchases and then saw Restore Purchases at bottom. The BUSY icon in top corner just spins? Waited 10 min???

JDSMUSIC It shouldn't take that long. Kill the app and retry it. But you can't restore a "test" purchase from the beta version on the non-beta version. Those are handled as separate apps by Apple. The non-beta version can only restore a non-beta purchase.

Tried that multiple times. I am confused. I am trying to get all the devices I use on stage to the same production version. Here is the configurations:

Main IPAD: 3.0.0(3686)
Slave IPAD: 3.0.0(1234)
Slave IPHONE6: 3.0.0(3656)

My iPhone I am using to play break music: 3.0.1(3815) This is the one that is hanging when I Restore Purchases.

Note: NONE of them show an update available when I go to the App Store?

That's the current App Store version: 3.0.1(3815)

Everything before the build 3686 is definitely a Testflight version. The 3686 might be a Testflight version depending on where you installed it from.

So open the App Store and search for Stage Traxx and then download it from there. It will overwrite your Testflight versions.

I downloaded on each of the devices. They all now show right store version 3.0.1(3815) but all now want me to purchase. Hitting Restore Versions hangs. I don’t mind spending the money if thats what it takes? Should I remove Test Flight?

Also, they show the TWO Info sections at bottom?

As I wrote above. The Testflight version purchase was only a virtual purchase. You can't restore Testflight purchases in the full version. You will need to buy the purchase on one device with the App Store version and then you can restore it on the other devices.

Hello Peter, I permit myself to add one more question concerning the in app purchase topic.
Using ST3 for 3 weeks for free, I envisage to buy it soon to unlock the full version. But I need one clarification.
Is the licence linked to the apple ID? I explain:
Being a drummer, I repeat and prepare all backing tracks at home thanks to the family iPad (my wife apple id is used),
But on studio with the band, I'm using my iPhone (my own apple id).
I well understood that purchasing the app allows to play with ST3 on all our devices but even if the apple id is not the same?

The purchase is linked to your AppleID. So only devices with your AppleID are covered with one purchase. There is one exception though: The license can be shared within a Family. If you have setup an iCloud Family, you can unlock the full version on any family device.

New the app, have some question: this "one time/one device buy" means that purchasing the app for Ipad also unlocks the app for the Mac? then full working for all devices with same apple ID? sorry if already answered. Thank you.

Correct. Once bought, you can restore the purchase on any device running with your AppleID.

Hi I purchased Stage Traxx (8646 - demo I’d installed on my old iPad).
It showed a tick beside “unlock full version” under In App Purchases

I installed Stage Traxx (8894) on my iPhone
It had also showed a tick beside “unlock full version” under In App Purchases

I restarted Stage Traxx on the iPad
It shows €29.99 beside “unlock full version” again under In App Purchases

Should I be able to access older versions under the same Apple ID?
I intend using 8894 on the iPhone as the server and assume the old iPad with 8646 will be able to connect and display lyrics off 8894? I assume 8646 is too old to sync to iCloud with 8894.

Any help appreciated, thanks.
