JDSMUSIC it depends: at my gigs I’m like an octopus already, mixing with one ipad, ST2 on another, playing guitar and singing, using a small keyboard to run DMX lighting controls. Add to this an erratic app like ST3 and for me it’s not good. ST2 actually answers everything for me and the only worry from now on is when will it be obsolete as Peter removes it from iTunes and no longer updates it. I’d say I need another 10 years before I’d stop gigging, seriously doubt my ipad will support ST2 that long.
I absolutely see that some users will use those new features but for some like me it’s a huge no.
I fully embrace new technology but also some of us are creatures of habit and at almost 50 I’m so used to ST2 for the past few years I cannot use ST3
