Send customer CC Midi Commands with AirTurn BT200s-6

Does ST3 allow me to configure the BT200s-6 buttons with customized CC commands? I want to configure the some of the buttons to control the BeatBuddy drum machine with such simple commands as STOP and some others to control tempo. The BB command to control tempo is: CC96.1@0. This tells the BB to increment tempo by 1 beat. CC97.1 tells it to decrease by one beat. I looked at the obvious places in ST3 and did not find it. I could only find the pre-defined list of commands to assign to the buttons.

CFMD28 that pre defined list is for midi messages controlling and received by stage Traxx and sounds like you want to send midi messages to control your BB. This is done within edit lyrics where you can send timed midi messages or upon pressing play etc

Lishy Thanks! You gave me an idea. I have song that gets faster and faster. I can program that into the lyrics 👍

You can use bluetooth pedals to control ST3 but not to trigger arbitrary midi messages for other devices.

peter Thanks, Peter. Can we add that one to the suggestion box for a future release? There are a lot of Beat Buddy users out there that would find this very appealing.

CFMD28 After giving this some thought, obviously, it will require me to assign a length of time to the lyrics but do I need to add an audio file to the lyrics to timestamp? Just think out loud. This will be an easy test.

That would be possible to add but I don't know if I can add it to version 3.7 as I have planned to start beta testing for that version at the end of the month and I still have lots of open issues. But I will make a note.
