Hi Peter, I am still experiencing the blank screen on side when I fire up on my iPhone max pro , when I go to portrait the first time it is perfect then if I change to landscape and back even the portrait mode ends up with this gap at the bottom , and it stays that way until I exit and come back in to ST3, I can have full screen on portrait as long as I don’t change orientation, but the landscape is always an issue as soon as I open ST3 this has never been an issue before. I am running the latest software and operating system.

The solution to this will have to wait until version 3.7 because the root cause is a rather old version of a software library I am using for showing the mini- and lyrics-player. It has a bug on iOS16 that is fixed in recent version but these versions are not compatible with iOS11. As version 3.7 will increase the minimum iOS version requirement to iOS13, I will be able to update this library and solve this issue for good. My workarounds don't cover every edge case.

I’m also having some issues, since the last update it no longer shows my running set list on the left side of the screen after loading a set list? If I close the app and re-open it, it then appears!


This maybe resolved in the next update you’re talking about, just a little frustrating for now.

    No need to close the app. Rotate it to portrait mode and back and it should stay visible for the rest of the runtime.

    Are you using iOS16?

    Phil Can you send me steps to reproduce the issue? I have never seen this myself.

      Thanks for getting back to me, I am using iOS 16.2 (iPad) and version 3.6.7 (ST3). I have tried rotating the screen (Portrait) but this didn’t work? I am still having to close the app and open it again. I have taken a full screen recording of the process but it is too large to upload, happy to send it to you if you have another way?

      I don’t feel as though I’m doing something to provoke this anomaly? I just open ST3 on my iPad (both Queue & History are clear), I select a playlist then click on the opening track which takes me to the main player screen where I have the blank screen (to the left ) where my track listings / set list should be. I then close the app and re-open it again and everything is there?

      Thanks Phil, your video helped me reproduce the issue on my end. It seems to be caused by the empty queue (not history like I wrote in my mail). Whenever I clear the queue and then restart the app, this issue pops up. When the queue is not empty while the app is started, everything works fine.

      With this info, I will surely be able to find a fix which should be released next week.

        peter that is probably why i haven’t noticed this because I don’t use queue but other little things are also happening in playlist I pointed out earlier.

          Hi Peter, Damir, I too had this issue, and tonight now after latest update, play does not show up in playlist mode ? I’ve sent a post in about it, I’m out singing tonight and tonight my lyrics didn’t come up and neither did the play button ▶️ extremely frustrating
          Brilliant app when it works though. 💛🙏
