    Frank-Ol There is no such thing as allowed legal copies. You might not get prosecuted if you posses copies but you will certainly get prosecuted if you distribute copyrighted material to others without reimbursing the copyright holder.

      Sharonzaz and you are totally within your rights to not share those. but say for example, i just need tracks to practice at home with, not a chance in hell im paying for that. ill take the regular song and use ai to split the tracks. srue the quality isnt great, but for practicing at home, thats enough.

                      Sharonzaz we agree on something. Android is garbage for audio. I have a "degoogled" Pixel that runs on graphene os, just absolute trash for audio. Apple makes GREAT software, ill never argue that. It's their business practices and hardware that i'm not a fan of. if i own a song( cd, digital file, etc.), i feel i should be able to do whatever i want with that file. put it on 10 of my devices, split tracks for personal use, etc. I'm not going to pay for something i can make for free.

                                      Art isn’t free. It’s intellectual property and you can quantify its worth. Art on the net is worth exactly the same as in physical media such as records, tapes, cds etc. if you paint on an app it’s not worth less than a canvas.

                                      Pun intended, you’ll sing a different tune if you’d actually create anything worth consuming but my guess is you don’t value yourself and what you “could” create and therefore you don’t value anyone else’s work either. You’d pirate anything and everything.

                                      I bet the person who invented AI app to splits stems didn’t mean for guys like you to rip off songs from artists who wrote and recorded their work and expect to get paid for it. You don’t fail to understand what you’re doing but instead you’re not caring who’s art/work you’re stealing.
