Freezing program & copied/Relocated MP3 files

As per other user post I am having freezing issues.

Also:

When I download stems I create a folder with the following path Files/On My iPad/Stagetraxx3/Multitrack-files/song name/MP3stemfile

After I create the song Stagetraxx makes a copy of some of the stem files and places them directly in the Multitrack-files folder.

If I delete the newly created files it results in multiple errors when opening Stagetraxx and trying to play a song. Stagetraxx is using the relocated copies that it made rather than the files in the locations I have specified.

If this continues it will make for a very large and messy file structure. !(https://)

Never move files in the Stage Traxx 3 folder arouind! ST3 excepts to find them at predefined places. Custom subfolders don't work!

peter ok so is it best to keep my Stem folders in a different directory on the iPad? Is ST3 Making copies of each stem file when a multitrack song is created?

Oh, I overlooked the part with the freezes. So the app also freezes for you when the screen was off?

How long does it need to idle before the freeze happens? And with "reboot" you mean restart the app, right? I need a way to reproduce this on my end because I have received not a single crash report for version 3.6.5 so far.

Yes, ST3 copies the files into the Stage Traxx 3 folder and after that you can basically remove the original files from your iPad. They are no longer needed.

Yes, restarting the program solves the freeze

I’m not sure how long it has to sit Idle for until it freezes. I’ll have to try a bunch of experiments to find out. My best guess is 30-60 min but I honestly can’t say at this point.

Hi Peter I find that if I remove my apple airpods from my ears whilst listening to STAGETRAXX the app freezes. If I reinsert them the app is still frozen. The app will only restart by closing and reopening it. I’m using iOS 15.6.1 on iPad.

That's a great find. I can reproduce the issue with my bluetooth headphones. Seems like changes to the audio output cause this. I think with this method to reproduce the problem I will be able to find a fix.

After lots of debugging I have found the problem. I will try to release a fixed version until end of this week.
