Feature Request: Playlist 'Crates'

I use stagetraxx as playback for three separate and different projects; solo, an 80's duo and a rock & Indie guitar trio. As such my playlist tab is now very full, would be nice to have an improved playlist filing structure ie crates/folders to store playlists in.
Just wondering if this could be considered for a future update/release?

This is a primary use case for keywords. Create a keyword for each of your projects and assign these keywords to playlists. You can then only show playlists with a certain keyword.

How do you exactly do that , as i have still not managed to work out why we have this filtering system in playlists and how to actually use it as a benefit in playlists, i know i can setup songs to be filtered but how do you do playlists?

Open a playlist, tap on the keywords button in the toolbar and create a new or select one or more existing keywords. It's the same as with songs.
