Apple Watch remote?

Some of us use our Apple watches as a remote for, for example, operating the camera shutter on an iPhone. Any possibility of an ST3 Apple Watch app to start playback remotely? Just a thought.

I looked into it about 2 years ago and found it too limiting to implement it. The biggest factor is that a watch can only be used to control an app on an iPhone. You can't control an iPad with it.

It would also look awkward on stage if you would look at your watch every now and then. Like you could not wait for the gig to finish 😉

peter I was thinking of using it offstage to start the evening. No problem, thank you anyway.

Use a bluetooth control off some sort. I use the air turn pedals without the pedals (if that makes sense??). the pedals come with a small battery powered module that sits in the middle of them that is the brains. I use that with my behringer fcb1010 pedals to trigger song starts etc etc, but you can use it on its own and press the in built buttons to start tracks etc -- its rock solid and worth the money. I believe they sell the module separate from the pedals anyway

Workaround: to start a track from off-stage, use your iPhone via bluetooth connected to something like the Blackstar Tone link into your mixer. Play from your phone rather than using Stage Traxx then continue as normal with Stage Traxx.
