You need to use timed midi messages. Something like this:

[midi@00:01.00: CC1.0@16] [midi@00:02.00: CC3.0@16]

and so on...

No, there is no way to send gapped messages in settings. But are you sure you need a gap between them? Usually concatenating them should work just fine:

CC1.0@16,CC3.0@16

is there anything should check if the messages are not working from the lyrics window

I am using txt files perhaps it only works on PDF lyric files ?

MIDI messages are always send no matter if you display text based lyrics or pdf files. With version 3.6 you can test your messages directly in the editor by starting playback. You can also debug sending messages by placing the cursor within a midi tag and selecting "Send MIDI" in the context menu.

If you need help writing the tags, paste your tags here in this thread so that I can see the full syntax you are using.

it changes the midi foot pedal . but when i save the edit lyrics and go back to play the song nothing happens .
any Ideas please I tried putting them into 1 line with commas then
I inserted them separately also

[midi@06:01: pc 1@16}
This is supposed to toggle the latching pedal
this works sending them in you idea above but not in song play ?????

I did discover i was not leaving a gap between time and PC so that was 1 of my problems.

Your syntax is wrong. You mix up different kinds of brackets. Always use only these: []. You also add spaces where no spaces should be.

So the correct syntax would be:

[midi@02:01: pc1@16]
[midi@04:01: pc3@16]
[midi@06:01: pc1@16]

Just copy and paste this into your lyrics and these commands will be sent at 2 minutes, 4 minutes and 6 minutes into the song.

Hi Peter I finally managed to figure out a way to get it to work :0)

I inserted this into lyrics file and it works . (putting it into one line does not work .)
This turns my Suhr Micro midi control on off 9This operates the effects off in my RCF Jmix 8 mixer
I just need to figure out how to re insert it at the end of the song.

So I move the song to the end insert a time stamp then change the time in the midi code to come in just before the end
if the song finished at 3.00 minutes i changed the midi code as follows . I hope this helps other learners
