I am not using crossfade it is off. Yes every single time. It seems to not be random. It is on the start of the 3rd song in the playlist it happens every time. I have created a different playlist still does it. It is not a specific song either. I have rearranged the songs in the playlist. Still the same spot. It did it one other time at a show. I have not played with it that far to find the other spot. Then when that happened at the show the second time I disabled the autoplay.
As I type this I have figured out a work around. In Pro Tools I created a blank file that is 0.032 seconds in length. I named it "spacer". I place this in between every song in the playlist. So far it is working without a hiccup! I will report back after extensive testing.
For better or worse at least I am not alone with this issue. Also seems to be happening on different platforms as well! Also on a MacBook and my iPad.
DaddyJules had a similar issue on a gig last night with two tracks playing simultaneously and also songs playing even after I had manually stopped that tracks. This is in autoplay mode running on a 2012 macbook pro on Catalina.
FWIW I think they way autoplay has changed from ST2 to ST3 is not a good idea. You are catering to general music playback and the the live performer / band that is perhaps the primary users of your software. At the very least put a switch on each playlist for it to be disabled. For now I just placed another blank audio file as the last song in the playlist so I have time to get there to shut off playback. We use Spotify for our "on break" music. I personally like to keep my use of Stage Traxx dedicated to just songs we perform live and not bloat it with "on break" music. My $.02
On a final note thank you so much for amazing software. It is the heart and soul of our entire show! An with the new features it keeps getting better and better!
