Hi, I’ve just purchased a ‘Donner page turner’ and it gets delivered tomorrow. Could anyone advise me if this is fully compatible with ‘Stage Traxx3’ and that I can assign all the actions that are stored in the app. Be good to know before I open the box. Or any recommendations for an alternative footpedal. I will be using it for my backing tracks and would like to go to ‘next track’ and maybe go to ‘queuing an alternative track. Thanks.

Ozzbox33 hi Ozzbox33 , my advice to you after being in your situation already if you plan to use ST3 being a very powerful tool is get a foot pedal with more buttons as you mentioned you already want 2 actions , well one of those actions take 2 switches already like selecting next song you need up/down movement then you have your must have stop/start that’s already 3 buttons so already 2 buttons aren’t enough if you use looping that’s another 2 buttons that’s 5 already you can get a six button pedal AirTurn that is really quiet compact and easy to use which will easily provide you most basic needs, ST3 is so powerful with great foot control features as a simple user like myself I feel like I still want to buy a second six switch pedal because having everything at your feet feels so good on stage it’s a lot more professional as you rarely need to touch your device, I also use tempo change and audio mute to great advantage and volume up/down there goes nine switches with basic bread and butter controls , so my advice would be if you can return your device and buy as large foot pedal as you can find and so far six switches is all I have found.
    Good luck Damir

thanks so much for your advice Damir. I sort of predicted that and I returned it before opening the box. I’ve now got an irig blueboard on the way. I know it’s got four actions and will see if I can get away with that one (fits my budget nicely and it was good to see Peter using one on his video. Thanks again for taking the time to give me some advice. Cheers,

      peter
Thanks Peter, I have sent that one back and now waiting for my irig blueboard.
Amazing app by the way. You should be so proud of what you have developed. The app is so intuitive and blows any of its rivals out of the water. I am now recommending the app to a lot of my musician friends.

Damir just a quick question and you understanding of the use of a page turner will help me greatly I want to use the page turner only for the starting and stopping tracks will most page turners do this with stage Traxx if so would you recommend a turner to me your insight would be greatly appreciated

I personally would stick with AIRTURN PRODUCTS FOR REMOTE USE, because ST3 seems to be more developed using this manufacturer and because they seem to have the best range of different remotes to suit different uses, plus their foot switches are good to use on stage and are very compact if you use six switch pedals.
But there are many others to choose from some i have tried and like the fire fly 2 pedal with extra two external switches giving me four if i want but i prefer Airturn , once you get use to the remote foot switching you will wish you had more switches later because ST3 is so good at providing many useful options , well thats my experience so i wish you luck with the new purchase and if you find something new and exciting please let us all know as things are always changing so quickly.
        Cheers Damir

I have this page turner which I already use with a number of apps (ForScore, teleprompter). When I select Airturn Keyboard, ST3 sees the pedal and connects. The keyboard commands are working - if I select Port 1, for example, I can use the up and down arrows to move through the list. However, I can't seem to get the pedal to control the app. If I go into the Assign Actions menu I can move up and down the list, but it doesn't seem to learn the key if I press it.

Select a different mode instead of up and down. This is a predefined shortcut in list views in the OS.

Of course, as soon as I posted that, it started to work!
