hi i currently have stage trax 3 on macbook pro running big sur i have paid for the full version and also installed on ipad, i have already loaded songs into the macbook with how i want them lyrics multitrack ect.

i want to export this to my ipad is it possible as there is no save export playlist etc

the setting on the macbook seem limited
also can the macbook and ipad share network

Settings on the MacBook are the same. Make sure you scroll down on the settings page to see the backup options. Then create a full backup, Airdrop it to your iPad and restore it in Stage Traxx.

And yes, MacBook and iPad do work together as host and client.

    peter i am not sure what i am doing wrong then as cant find settings page

      when i click on the edit circle right hand side of each song then i get this and thats it and also the edit page cant find no setting for host or backup i have looked at the drop down menue to and nothing

      This is really weird. Only the Songs tab is visible for you at the bottom of the screen. The other tabs seem to be there but are not visible. I am on Monterey and the screen looks like this:

      So can you tap to the right of "Songs" where "Settings" is visible in my screenshot? Does the settings screen open?

      Do you maybe have some custom settings in your Control Panel in the Appearance section?

      uninstalled it and re downloaded lost all my work over weekend and still cant find no setting page

      yes it does work wish i had got that ten mins ago lol i will see if i can change display thanks for all your help really loving what can be done with it so far and thats without having any setting, i run a behringer x air 12 and i am wanting to switch the fx on and of before and after each song , do you know if this is possible the x air as in out midi sockets

        You can restore your work from an Time Machine Backup. Restoring the following Folder in your Home directory should restore all your songs and settings: Library/Containers/Stage Traxx 3

        You mean the midi in socket on your XR12, right? Yes that should work. You just need to enable the MIDI Config settings in the XR12 settings and then send the correct MIDI commands to mute/unmute your fx return (or send).

            the macbook pro display was dark mode and the stage trax to think they effected each other

            Interesting. I just tried it on Moneterey and it is working in both modes. Seems to be a bug in Big Sur. I will search on the developer forums to see if someone has a clue about this issue with the tabbar on Big Sur. Might be hard for me to track down without a running Big Sur installation.

              peter ok thanks im getting use to it now it keeps setting itself everytime i run it i have to go into settings and turn dark mode on or of as everytime i run it it goes again till i change dark mode

              also i am in a band running click track on left everything else to left channel so i am having to run my tracks in mono through pa is there a way of keeping the stereo tracks and sending the drummer the click track

              this is a fantastic program not got onto midi yet as doing a small set list for the band to practice to

                  got 4 inputs four outputs also as midi so then could control the x air 12 with stereo music and a click track for drummer
