  • Impossible to download dropbox files

Hello,
I really want to test the lite version before paying and the lite version doesn't work. For now, i'm not interested by the Itune downloading for many reasons :
- it's my son's Ipad, and I only use it for my gigs, so I don't want to use his Itune
- I already typed my lyrics on my computer
- some songs don't have the right lyrics on the web, I already changed them
- I sing some medleys, so I won't find the lyrics I want

My Dropbox account is already connected to the app. I can also see the songs in Settings/Dropbox. But when I select them, I have a message telling the song is already uploaded, but it's not. I tried with doc and txt.
What's happening please?
Laura

And is it possible to write personal comments in the lyrics and add colours (for chorus)?

Laurast Could you maybe post a screenshot of your iPad when the error appears? How do you know that these files have not already been downloaded? Did you try to import lyrics from one of these files into a song?

Laurast And is it possible to write personal comments in the lyrics and add colours (for chorus)?

No, colored lyrics are not yet supported. But I plan to add this feature later this year.

I tried to follow your tuto video, but I can't create any song in the playlist. The Local files are empty.

Ah, I see the problem. Thanks for the images.

The downloaded files can be added to an existing song, if you open the lyrics editor for that song, and then tap on the import button. Then a file browser will open and this file browser will only display text files.

The window titled "Local Files" will only display audio files and not text files.

Thank you. But where can I find the lyrics editor?
      I can't edit lyrics.

This is what I read in your user manual : "If you want to edit lyrics inside of Stage Traxx, you need to open the Playlist Manager and select a playlist with the button. Now tap on the song you want to edit and select the item Edit Lyrics. A large text area will open up. You can always close the editor without saving changes by tapping on Cancel. To save your changes, tap on Save. "

My last screen shot shows you what I see after selecting "Edit". I have no large text area and no possibility to type or
      download any text.

Well, first you need to add audio files. Either import some songs from iTunes or download audio files (.mp3, .wav, .aif...) from Dropbox. Using texts without audio files is not possible in Stage Traxx.

Can I add my band's audios of those songs in Dropbox? Because when we play medleys, they don't exist.
And we have our personal way to play songs. They don't look like the original songs.

You can add whatever audio you like. But please note that Stage Traxx does not really make sense for you if you don't want to use the audio functionality. It is the core of the app. If you only want something to display lyrics, apps like Forscore or Onsong might be better suited for you.
