I am evaluating ST3 for purchase. I am very satisfied with everything except MIDI file playback. I cannot play a MIDI file thru my iPad speakers. I get a file error but I know the file is good (tested on other apps). What am I doing wrong.? …Help? … DonNicola

Midi file playback is not possible in Stage Traxx. You can only play audio files.

        DonNicola Hi Don, ST3 is an Audio playback only software that has the capability to send midi commands to control devices, it does not play standard midi files, so yes you are correct you need to convert your midi files to audio files, i use to run midi files for backing but now i am very happy with ST3 because it also does lyrics/chords and so much more that it is well worth the change.

          You can control your other devices via midi. For example switch patches when selecting songs or during playback.
