Hi Peter,
I mentioned awhile back that I was having problems with my airturn pedal not working with Stage Traxx
on iPad Pro 12.9
I have to turn off then turn on the airturn switch in order for it to work. I was on ver. 2.9.2.
I tested this problem on iPad Air without any issue at all. The iPad Air ver. Is 2.9.
I updated the iPad Pro to Stage Traxx 2.10 today but I have the same airturn problem. I find it odd I only have this
Issue with the iPad Pro.
Any thought on this issue?
Thanks

Which Airturn device are you using? Is your iPad Air still on Stage Traxx version 2.9.0?

I'm using airturn quad. Not ped. I updated both iPads to 2.10. Same issue with iPad Pro. I have to turn off then on airturn setting

I did see where my iPad Air is on iOS 10.0.1. I don't want to update to latest iOS I case that breaks my airturn setting.

I just checked again with my iPad Air on iOS 10.2.1 and current Stage Traxx 2.10.0. I can not reproduce this issue. I make sure Bluetooth is active, turn on the Airturn. It immediately connects to the iPad so that the blinking of the Airturn LED slows down. When I start Stage Traxx, the pedals are already connected. Stopping Stage Traxx via task switcher and restarting the app leads to the same result. The pedal stays connected.

I'm afraid without a way to reproduce this problem, I will not be able to fix it.

    peter Thanks Peter,
I just wanted you to know my issue is with a 12.9 iPad Pro. Perhaps an ios update will fix this.

I am having the following problem with PageFlip Cicada

When I turn it on the light is blinking once every 3 seconds. Each time I start StageTrax it does NOT work.
If I look at AirTurn settings I see AirTurn Support is enabled. Below that I see:

      My device is PED

If I touch that I get it changes to Scanning for PED and anohter line that says:
      My device is BT-105
Once I touch that it changes back to saying: My device is PED

ONLY THEN does it work. I have to do this EVERY TIME I launch StageTrax. I do know that at some previous release I only had to do this once.

I am using 3 Bluetooth devices, maybe that has something to do with it?

      1. Yamaha BT-01 Wireless Midi Interface to transmit patch changes etc to my rack.
      2. iRIG Blueboard 4 button for me
      3. Cicada PageFlip for my singing partner

Thor I just wanted you to know my issue is with a 12.9 iPad Pro. Perhaps an ios update will fix this.

Unfortunately I don't have an 12.9 iPad Pro to test with. Therefore I tried to reproduce this issue with an iPad Air.

JDSMUSIC I am having the following problem with PageFlip Cicada

Don't press the "My device is a PED", because the Pageflip is certainly not a PED compatible device. What happens if you disable and enable AirTurn Support? Does it work then?

          peter
Just tried that and it works. I recall when I first started using the Cicada about 2 to 1/2 years ago that I had to do this. Then, according to your change log in docs, version 2.8.1 eliminated that necessity. Don't know when exactly it stopped working automatically.

This might be indeed related to the issue Thor has.

          3 months later

I'm coming in late on this one as I only discovered the forum this week !
I've pointed out this problem to Peter by mail.
If it's any help, I have exactly the same problem with my Airturn device on my 2 iPad minis.
One is running the latest iOS. The older one can no longer be upgraded so is on a v9... iOS.

            a year later

I can't get iRig Blueboard to connect toStage Traxx
although the Blueboard app sees the ipad immediately
I am using iPad Air 2

I've been on it for hours

            Any ideas?

            Cheers Brian

Blueboard is not Airturn. You need to configure it as a midi device in Stage Traxx.

Hi Peter, Thanks for your reply
I realise it's not Airturn but I couldnt find a similar topic for Blueboard
The Blueboard app recognises the pedal immediately -
but Stage Traxx says "Searching for Bluetooth LE midi... no devices found.
              Am I doing something wrong?
By the way I think Stage Traxx is a brilliant app but would be even more so if I could get the pedal to work.
              Thank you for your help

Please ignore my silly previous post. Sometimes I think I must be dyslexic. I followed your instructions... and it works!

Thank you for letting me waste your time ;-)

Glad you got it working. If you have the current firmware installed on your Blueboard you could start it in Bluetooth LE mode and connect directly to Stage Traxx without the need fot the Blueboard app.
