Is is supposed to adjust on the fly as we are playing? I have an iRig Blue Turn that I have been using to adjust scrolling rate real time.

What do you mean? The timecode? No, you don't need to. If every line has a time code the app will take care to display the current line in the center of the screen. See here: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/lyrics/

There is no way I am going to tackle adding timecode to 500 songs lyrics. What I mean is using the pedal on MY main screen set up as Increase Scroll Speed / Decrease Scroll Speed. Since I did not have enough room to import from my old ST2. Every song scroll speed defaults to 100. I set up the pedal and as we perform a song with ST3 I hit the button to adjust till it is good for us.

OK, the speed adjustment works during playback but it will not transfer to connected network clients. The speed is only sent once when the song loads.

Ouch! So we are going to have to forego clients until we have re-established correct scroll rate. OR...maybe just have her open old ST3 and read me the numbers....

Or you could temporarily make some room to migrate your data from version 2. 500 songs should be no more than 4GB.

New beta build 3686

The last build has been very stable. No crashes have been reported so far. Never the less, I made some smaller fixes.

This is the version I will submit for release! Thank you all for participating in this long long testing phase. Without you, version 3 would not have turned up as nice as it is!

Changed free version limitation to not restrict playback time and instead limit number of songs and use of backup/restore
Fixed lyrics not showing correct position when changing device orientation
Fixed play button behaviour in playlist view after adding or removing playlists
Fixed network client not continuing playback with autoplay on and crossfades disabled

Peter, just a quick note to say thank you. You saved my act the other night.

I asked for you to put autoplay onto individual tracks a while ago which you did and it works even better than the version 2 implementation.

I won’t go into details but last Saturday my set would have been ruined if I could not autoplay certain individual tracks on the fly.

I use a complex setup with midi controlling lighting, background graphics, reverb & harmoniser, guitar and keyboard patch changes on over 1000 songs all controlled by Stage Traxx, when things go wrong they can go VERY wrong VERY quickly.

Thanks a million, my career rests on this working well, which it does.

One final request, for an update rather than first release.

Is there any chance that the volume buttons can be assigned by a set up switch to change pitch on the fly?

Regarding the pitch changes: I plan on adding a way to change pitch, speed, eq and also both volume settings on the fly. This is on my todo list for version 3.1.

Question about autoplay for a song. If you set a song for auto play is that retained or do you have to do it each time? For example, playing with a live drummer who needs a click track, the song Proud Mary as done by Ike and Tina Turner has slow tempo at start, then drastic tempo change. This makes it very difficult. I was thinking of splitting the song into Part 1 and Part 2 and setting Part 2 to autoplay. So to when adding Proud Mary to the queue I would add part 1 then part 2 (adding to bottom of queue). Will I then have to swipe left on part 2 to make it autoplay or will it remember?

JDSMUSIC If it is part of a playlist and you load that playlist into the queue, the setting will be retained. If you just add a single song to the queue, you will have to set autoplay in the queue.

Oh, and the autoplay setting needs to be activated on the first song.

Apple just approved Stage Traxx 3 for release. I have removed version 2 from the App Store and version 3 should be available within a couple of hours.
