TIME is the most valuable asset we own.
SO, why do we waste it so easily?
HOW DOES THIS RELATE TO ST3
Good software does not waste your time, it actually saves you time to do a specific job that otherwise would either be impossible or very time consuming or difficult to do.

ST3 is a great example of good software designed to do a specific number of things for you in a simple and efficient way, that’s why who ever needs this type of software and is fortunate enough to discover it rates it very highly.
As an older user and I hope wiser I find ST3 a very useful tool, it definitely saves me TIME in the long run, but I do find certain things on it that still waste my time and should work faster,
And that is the preparation process to achieve a finished product or an end result I need.
The entering of Timecode to sync line lyrics is not as fast as it could be and once you have achieved the end result you can’t easily transfer or save your work the way you want and need.

If you transpose a song you can’t export it or save it in any way, you can just see it this is so unfortunate as it would be a great TIME saver.
Editing timecode is time consuming, you have to manually erase it first before recreating it, this should be as simple as touch the timecode area select delete and it’s gone ready for a new entry, these simple little things would save us a lot of TIME and less button pushing, mistakes are often created in the creative process and a need for efficient editing process is greatly needed to save TIME.
Little things like this are very important to speed up the editing process, ST3 on stage can’t be improved much more as it is very efficient as is, the time spent in editing process could be improved making this software very efficient in all aspects.

So always remember use TIME as your measuring tool, if it takes too long and is awkward is it really wort it?

What is your time worth?
As you get older your time becomes more valuable as you are running out of time, this is simple logic of supply and demand rule.

If you use $60 an hour as a reference you can easily calculate your monetary gains or losses.

Example

I need to buy tablets from a chemist and want to get the best deal, I go to my local chemist shop and purchase $40 of tablets but I had to wait 20 minutes to get them but just down the street there’s another chemist selling the same tablets for $45 but you get them immediately saving you 20 minutes, if you value your time at $60 an hour you would save $15 if you go to the $5 dollar more expensive chemist as he is more efficient in serving you, so imagine you are on your death bed and had an option of living an extra 15 minutes for a price , what would your time be worth then?
Perhaps a little more than $60 an hour 🥸.

I hope my wisdom has opened up your eyes a little and perhaps the way you think about good and bad software.
