midi commands/triggers/codes from Stage traxx to freestyler

Hi I am looking for a list of midi commands/triggers/codes that I can use to do various triggers of sequences I am creating in freestyler such as master speed control (ie match the speed of each individual track in stage traxx to a sequence in fs) and fade out and in.
I am still fairly new to fs but am hoping to build a collection of sequencers (Ie slow fades for slower songs and snappier for fast songs etc) that I can use as a generic set up for many song but just be able to sync the tempo to each track via midi rather than sound to light etc.

I know the basic not on message i.e. [midi@00:01.00: N62@1] but that's about my lot at this stage but would appreciate any help with any stage traxx basic commands to save me a lot of experimenting!

Thanks for that Peter I have looked at this and its helpful but I was wondering if you could give me some advice.

I am looking at inputting a midi command in each of my songs in stage traxx (to trigger a pre made sequence in Freestyler) to set the tempo of the sequence to match the individual songs.

I'm not sure if it could be done by changing the master speed or midi clock (which I am not familiar with at the moment) or by simply sending a bpm command etc. Any help or advice would be gratefully received

Use the midi clock feature. That's what it is for. Go to Settings -> Playback and set Sync to Clock. Then you need to set the correct bpm in song details for each song.

MIDI does not have a command to set a bpm value. Instead the clock sends impulses in predefined intervals. So that different devices will run in sync.

Thanks Peter I am at present using stage traxx v2 as I only have an iPad 2 but have got an ipad 4 coming in a few days. I cant see Sync to Clock in the playback settings of stage traxx/playback settings is this only in v3?

Yes, that's only available in version 3. In version 2 there is no way to send a midi clock signal.

do you know if there is another way to increas/decrease the tempo via v2 of stage tracks to fs ie master speed etc and do you know if the Ipad 4 works with v3.

No, I'm not familiar with Freestyler, so I have no clue. Maybe you could preprogram setups in Freestyler and just select these with program changes?

You need at least a 5th gen iPad to run version 3.

Thanks Peter for all you help. I have figured out how to trigger my sequencers in Freestyler with a note on message command eg [midi@00:01.00: N62@1] but I am struggling to fine the right command to trigger the speed of the sequence.

I have tried sending the control :- [midi@00:02.00: CC64.75@1] as I was thinking it would change the speed to 75 bpm but it has no effect. i have add a couple of pics of the midi short cut/trigger page but I cant wirk out how to change the value of if I should be using PC OR CC to change it. I would be gratful for any help.
